I’m Francesco, a designer from Turin, Italy. I’m a UI-UX designer by profession, a graphic designer by training, and a maker at heart.
I love working as a designer because every project I am offered has different requests, needs, problems to face and solutions to implement. Each time is a new challenge and an opportunity to learn, to study and put new techniques and experiences to good use.
In addition to Graphic and UI-UX design, I have a passion for 3D modelling and printing, creative coding and the “maker” world in general. These are areas that often intersect fruitfully with my work.

– I trained as a communication designer and graduated from Milan Polytechnic in 2017.
– I work in graphic design, UI and UX design for the web..
– I am based in Turin, Italy, and work remotely with clients from Italy and around the world.
I see my role as a designer as that of an all-round designer. I pay close attention to the aesthetic side of the projects I am involved in, but at the same time I always try to anticipate how that project will take shape in reality, what are the requirements for production and then adapt the design to the specific use it will be put to.
There is no single solution to all problems; it is the process, through design thinking, that leads to identifying the best solution each time. Every project presents new requests, needs and problems that require specific solutions.
Whenever I can, I like to “get my hands dirty” and transform what are often virtual projects or prototypes in our work into something tangible; working with code, printing and book-binding, 3D printing, electronics.
I was born in Turin just over a quarter of a century ago. As a child, I had a passion for drawing, Lego, video games and football.
Football (soccer) and video games have remained my hobbies, but from drawing and Lego building blocks, I have carried with me a fascination for composing, dismantling, reassembling, creating new shapes and modifying old ones. Which is, after all, the basis of visual design.
At the end of secondary school, after stumbling upon a book by Bruno Munari entitled “Design and Visual Communication”, I decided to enrol in the Communication Design faculty at the Politecnico di Milano.
At “Poli”, in addition to studying graphic design, I cultivated my passion for design and technology, focusing mainly on interaction design, working projects that involved the use of electronic components (Arduino and Raspberry Pi) and the production of 3D-printed prototypes to facilitate human-machine interactions.
After university, I worked for three years for Giemme srl in Turin where, in addition to redesigning and fine-tuning the company’s communications (both print and web), I brought my passion for 3D modelling and printing to the company, creating a small “rapid prototyping” department to produce prototypes and casting molds. I also had the opportunity to get to know and practice with many printing techniques used in the company (screen printing, digital printing, plotters, pad printing and engraving using both CNC milling and lasers).
Since 2020, I have been working as a freelance designer.
